Bethel Courier is a service of Bethel Enterprise. This page explains what we collect when you send a parcel with us, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Sender name and phone number.
- Recipient name, phone numbers and delivery address.
- What is in the parcel, its declared value, weight and size.
- Your payment status for the booking.
- A rating and comment, if you choose to leave one after delivery.
Why we use it
- To book, carry, track and deliver your parcel.
- To send you updates about that parcel on WhatsApp.
- To handle a Bethel Secure claim.
- To keep the accounts the law requires of a business.
- To send you occasional offers from Bethel Courier on WhatsApp. Every offer carries a one-tap way to stop them, and stopping never affects your parcels.
Who sees it
Our staff at the branches that handle your parcel. Where part of the journey is with an airline, a transporter or an outside courier, they receive what they need to carry it. We do not sell your data.
Anyone who has your parcel's Tracking ID can see its status, the sender's and receiver's names and the number of pieces on our tracking page, without signing in. The Tracking ID is the key, so share it only with the person you are sending to. Phone numbers and addresses are never shown there.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it erased where we are not required to keep it. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 98113 82240.
